The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children exploits children, mothers and American taxpayers

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) is a publicly funded child protection agency with a “public be damned” policy toward abuse victims.

NCMEC will no longer be able to get away with deceiving policy makers with their public claims of fighting child exploitation, while in private rejecting intake callers who complain of sex abuse and pornography regarding their children.  Now there is an audio tape of NCMEC staff saying their official policy is not to take the type of child sex exploitation which is the most prevalent and damaging - those of fathers exploiting their own children.

NCMEC has a long history of supporting false abduction charges by fathers against custodial mothers who are trying to protect their child against an abusive father.  Many custodial mothers have been arrested and jailed for child abduction while sitting home with their child, or in a domestic violence shelter, after filing a protective order or criminal abuse child abuse charges against the father.  Involved FBI agents refused to listen to her counter-complaint of having the legal right over her own child, and arrest her anyway.

While NCMEC’s 2005 IRS 990 filing, Part III Statement of Program Service Accomplishments, lists “provide information on ways to prevent the sexual exploitation of children”, NCMEC’s staff said repeatedly during a Dec 19th taped meeting:  “that’s not our job” and “that’s not our mission”, when the issue of child sexual abuse was raised.  But worse, they also said they never get involved with intra-family cases – yet, one of the NCMEC staff members at the meeting is their “Family Advocate” specialist.

This NCMEC “Family Advocate” staff woman, acknowledged referring cases to a highly discredited fathers rights affiliated family reunification center, the Rachel Foundation, sued by kids, incarcerated by them for weeks, and subjected them to their threats of never being allowed to leave, never seeing their mother again, and denied meals, unless they reversed their complaint about their father having abused them.

Needless to say, the Rachel people have lost their license to operate in several states.  Yet NCMEC continues to work with them as their family advocate/reunification specialists, who are really abuse “denial” agents.

NCMEC’s Internet Child Porn operation has failed to stop the problem, as they admitted in a Dec. 15, 2007 Washington Post article.  The obvious reason is that they and their FBI investigative team, do not appear to be going after the source of the child porn problem – the purveyors who host these images on their servers and web sites and collect fees from the porn viewers.    Also, callers requesting “innocent images” verifications of their own child possible being used for porn – are rebuffed.

Jan 4, 2008 Washington Post article: “User Data Stole From Pornography Sites” revealed hackers stole hundreds of thousands of registered users names from one of the largest adult porn.  If hackers can obtain porn users names, why isn’t NCMEC investigating the child porn sites for their user names?   Is NCMEC checking to see if these purported legal adult porn sites, include child porn?  Why aren’t they going after the people who sexually assault the children, the people who take the images of the assaults, the people who host and sell the images? How does NCMEC ‘capture’ porn views without having access to the porn hosting sites or servers, OR does NCMEC have porn on its own computers – making sure only non-family members get caught in their investigations – while their “steady” suppliers are protected?

Don’t try to question NCMEC about their actions – because you will likely get a response similar to what they gave me when I asked what they could do:  “Nothing!  And we are going to walk your right out of this building right away”  they said.    This is on audiotape!
